ABOUT ROD
Rod “Tigre” Martin has worked in Costa Rica real estate since 2007 and is currently an agent with Costa Rica Real Estate Service on the Costa Ballena. He is the author of “No Mistakes in Paradise – Your Buyer’s Guide to Costa Rica Real Estate“. He has held a California Realtor license, completed the CCCBR real estate certification, and spent four years as co-owner of a boutique brokerage in Uvita. In 2016, Rod was featured on House Hunters International™ in the episode “High Hopes in Costa Ballena.”
Originally from Northern California, he holds a B.A. in English from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and built an early career in international marketing. A love of the tropics, discovered while traveling through Singapore and Thailand, brought him to Costa Rica in 2002. Twenty-four years later, Rod still calls the Costa Ballena home.
